We now have an exciting opportunity for an Export Control & Compliance Specialist at Framo AS -- a key role where you will work at the heart of our international operations and support several departments across the company.

You will join a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic, collaborative, and positive work environment where quality, integrity, and reliability are essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and sanctions
• Secure correct HS classification of all Framo products
• Identify, classify, and document any dual-use items
• Stay updated on Norwegian export control (DEKSA) regulations and act as Framo’s main point of contact for special cases and procedures
• Support and collaboration with internal teams (Product Mgt, Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales) across all Framo entities to ensure understanding of and adherence to export sanctions, trade regulations, and classification requirements
• Assist with End User Certificates and other export control documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of export control processes and routines

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics / supply chain or similar -- relevant experience can compensate
• Experience within transport, logistics, global export, or customs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of Incoterms and logistics/customs procedures
• Experience with trade compliance, import/export regulations, and sanctions is an advantage
• Knowledge of HS codes and country-of-origin rules is an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel) is a plus
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
