We are looking for a new Principal Engineer - Process to strengthen the Early Phase team. You will play an important part in early phase studies.
About the position
Join our Process discipline and take on varied senior responsibilities---from specialist assignments to emerging leadership roles. This role blends strong technical expertise with a multidisciplinary mindset and a clear understanding of market and commercial drivers. We’re looking for a professional with 10+ years’ relevant experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas or related industries. You’ll collaborate closely with adjacent disciplines to integrate process deliverables and drive successful project outcomes across multiple, high‑impact energy projects.
Responsibilities and tasks include
• Be the key resource within Process within early phase studies
• Perform early phase studies
• Discipline leadership
• Responsible for Process description in tenders for Studies
• Good knowledge of offshore and/or onshore process systems
• Experience with process simulation tools
• Sizing process equipment
• Strong familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, such as PTIL, NORSOK, and API standards
Qualifications
• Master or bachelor degree
• Long relevant experience may competence for lack of formal education
• Preferably experience within both Oil & Gas field development
• 10 years + experience with process design
• Experience with concept development work
• Knowledge of methods, technologies, rules and regulations for Process
Personal qualities
• Interest in conceptual work and study development
• Be a team player and be able to work independently
• Have the ability to develop within untraditional conceptual thinking and challenging established truth
• Good communications skills in English.
• High level of personal efficiency, ability to sort the work situation and produce required deliverables
