As a Service Account Leader at GE Healthcare, every customer interaction is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care. In this role, you will lead service sales and lifecycle solutions across Norway, driving commercial and operational excellence through innovative, high-value service offerings.
You will be the trusted face of our service portfolio, building strong partnerships that enhance customer satisfaction and empower healthcare professionals to deliver world-class care. Working closely with the Nordic service sales team, the Norwegian field service organization, and equipment sales teams, you will collaborate across Imaging, Ultrasound, and Patient Care Solutions businesses to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities• Define, develop and execute high value services across Norway, maximizing wins at point of sales, after warranty and on the existing install base.
• Sales negotiation and deal closure at the customer, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as technical/ biomed personnel, but also possibly department heads or CXO level personnel.
• Expected to sell point of sale service contracts, financing and drive margin though selling value and holding price.
• Develop and maintain a high level of service solutions knowledge of GE and competitive offering.
• Achieve annual and quarterly achievement of multiple revenue targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage.
• Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships and development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.
• Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.
• Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive service sales.
Qualifications/Requirements• At least one of the following core experiences:
consultative sales or market experience including strategic selling and negotiation in a complex sales environment involving multiple decisionmakers/ influencers
Healthcare service experience preferable in Diagnostic Imaging, Ultrasound or Patient Care Solutions.
• Experience in customer facing role(s).
• Excellent Norwegian and English language skills
• Willingness to travel within his/her specified geographic region.
Desired skills• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Previous Healthcare sales experience.
• Robust interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages.
• Solid process orientation, demonstrated resource management and allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
• Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process.
