Stillingsbeskrivelse
As a Fleet Assistant, you will work closely with our mechanic and fleet management team to ensure our vehicle fleet is safe, well maintained, and ready for daily operations. This role combines hands-on operational work with coordination and planning responsibilities.
Your tasks will include assisting with repairs and damage fixes on vehicles, preparing cars for daily use, and keeping parking areas clear and organized, including snow removal during winter. You will help monitor service intervals, EU kontroll deadlines, and the general condition of the fleet.
You will coordinate and book appointments with external workshops, follow up on repairs, and ensure vehicles are delivered to and collected from service partners as planned. Maintaining accurate records of services, inspections, and vehicle status is an important part of the role.
This position is designed as a development role. There will be opportunities over time to take on increased responsibility within fleet operations, depending on interest, performance, and suitability. For the right person, this role can offer a natural progression within Arctic Campers.
What we are looking for
• Some knowledge of cars, camper vans, or RVs; technical interest in vehicles and camper systems
• Hands-on and practical mindset with the ability to solve problems independently
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English ; Norwegian is a plus but not required
• Willingness to collaborate with international colleagues, external workshops, and internal departments
• Good level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing service schedules, inspections, and vehicle data
• Proactive, reliable, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team
• A valid B-class driver's license is required; experience driving larger vehicles is an advantage
Our Work Environment
You will be joining a young and international team based in Norway, made up of outdoor-minded individuals from around the world. Our company language is English, and our work culture values openness, collaboration, and initiative. While the position is based in our office and workshop, your work directly supports adventurous travel experiences across the country.
Why Join Us
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and responsible role within a growing company. You will work closely with management and other departments, contribute directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, and be encouraged to bring your ideas to the table.
We offer a supportive and flexible work environment where professional development is valued, and where your role can evolve as the company grows.
