Are you an ENT specialist looking for new opportunities abroad?
Several hospitals and clinics across Norway are seeking experienced specialists within otorhinolaryngology (ENT) for permanent positions. The need is particularly high in district areas, but vacancies can also occur in larger cities.
We offer modern hospitals and clinics with advanced medical facilities, a strong focus on professional development and continuous education, and a collaborative work environment emphasizing quality and patient-centered care.
Typical workplaces and responsibilities
As an ENT specialist in Norway, you may work at:
• Regional or local hospitals with surgical departments
• Outpatient clinics and specialist centers
• Multidisciplinary medical teams with close collaboration across specialties
Your daily work can include:
• Outpatient consultations, diagnostics, and follow-up care
• Surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, sinus surgery and tube insertion
• Treatment of patients with chronic ENT conditions
• Collaboration with colleagues in other medical fields to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications• Authorization as a medical doctor in an EU/EEA country
• EU/EEA certification as an ENT specialist
• Experience from outpatient consultations and/or surgical ENT practice is an advantage
• Good English skills and motivation to learn Norwegian (free language training provided)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
