Stillingsbeskrivelse
Metesa is strengthening its group function and is seeking an IT Manager with responsibility for secure, stable, and scalable IT operations across our European entities. You will play a central role in maintaining a modern IT foundation while driving development initiatives as we standardize systems and processes across the group.
This role sits at the intersection of operational IT, vendor management, and group-level development. You will work close to the business and support growth following multiple acquisitions across Europe.
As Group IT Manager, you are responsible for maintaining a suitable IT infrastructure across all entities. You also lead and contribute to groupwide initiatives for system consolidation, standardization, and improved IT governance. The role combines hands-on responsibility with forward-looking development work.
Key responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for shared IT infrastructure, security, and availability
• Ensure stable operations across multiple countries and entities
• Manage external IT partners and service providers
• Ensure cost control, service quality, and clear governance of agreements
• Plan and execute consolidation into shared platforms and tenants
• Contribute to selection, implementation, and rollout of groupwide systems
• Develop and standardize IT processes, policies, and documentation
• Support acquisitions with IT onboarding and integration
• Advise management on IT strategy, risks, and improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
• Higher education within IT or related fields
• Minimum five years of experience with responsibility for IT operations or infrastructure
• Solid understanding of identity, security, networks, and endpoint management
• Experience working on system changes and implementation
• Background from group structures or post-acquisition integration is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft-based cloud environments is an advantage
Personal profile:
• Structured and reliable
• Clear and direct communicator
• Comfortable with responsibility and expectations
• Analytical and improvement oriented
• Able to work independently and across teams
What we offer:
• A key role in a growing European group
• High influence on how group IT is shaped and developed
• Close collaboration with management and operating companies
• Flexible work setup
• Competitive terms, pension, and insurance schemes
This role suits you if you want to build and standardize, not only maintain.
