As a Chef at Lovund Hotell, you will be part of a dedicated kitchen team with high ambitions for flavour, quality, and local ingredients. You will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests -- from everyday service to events and special occasions. This position is ideal for someone who is professionally confident, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and wants to work in beautiful natural surroundings where genuine hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.
Key respnsibilities
• Production of food in accordance with current menus and concepts
• Working purposefully to achieve the best possible quality and create great guest experiences
• Being positive about working with allergy adaptations in daily operations
• Contributing to the further development of the kitchen by staying up to date on techniques and new ways of working
• Taking responsibility for the tasks assigned to the role and ensuring that all work is carried out on time and in a professional manner
• You should be a good team player
Qualifications
• Professional training as a chef and/or relevant experience from a commercial kitchen
• Strong interest in food quality, flavours, and the use of local ingredients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High standards of cleanliness, structure, and food safety
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with a positive attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to contribute where needed
• Good communication skills; knowledge of Scandinavian languages or English is an advantage
