As an Integration Engineer, you will:
• Lead end-to-end integration of Hive’s platform, sensors, and compute on industrial machines
• Work closely with robotics, autonomy, AI, and software teams to ensure system compatibility and performance
• Troubleshoot integration challenges across hardware, firmware, networking, and software
• Support field commissioning, testing, and validation of new machine models and deployments
• Ensure integrations follow internal technical standards, documentation requirements, and safety processes
• Collaborate with QA to ensure every integration meets quality, reliability, and regulatory expectations
• Provide technical insights that inform product improvements, customer adaptations, and future platform design
• Contribute to building scalable integration workflows as the company grows
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Experience integrating electro-mechanical or robotics systems
• Practical hands-on competence with sensors, PLCs, industrial networking, CAN bus, hydraulics, or embedded systems
• Experience from reverse engineering and programing
• Comfortable diagnosing issues across hardware, firmware, and software boundaries
• Experience in field testing and commissioning (industrial, robotics, automotive, or machinery industries)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, system architectures, and wiring diagrams
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics, or similar
• Experience integrating or supporting complex technical systems in real-world environments
• Proficient in English
• Willingness to travel for customer-site commissioning and testing
