Sales Engineer (Rig and Boat)
Overview
The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for preparing offers, obtaining documentation and at the same time helping our customers find good technical solutions. We work with all equipment supplied by one of the largest oil industry manufacturers, which is on board rig & boat. This is everything from the drill deck to the overboard crane. As a member of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience with our clients equipment and at the same time work closely with other departments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer contact
Prepare and prepare offers for our customers
Follow up existing offers with customers, suppliers and internally
Registration and updating in our sales systems
Attending/arranging meetings internally and externally with our clients
Contribute internally in the department to find technical solutions
Qualifications
Good written and oral knowledge of Norwegian and English
Generally good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Good technical understanding of mechanical & hydraulic drawings
Be able to read technical drawings and flow diagrams
Knowledge of offshore drilling equipment
Background from technical work will be preferred
Education at tertiary vocational school/college level. This can alternatively be replaced by relevant experience.
